GROW-COOK-SHARE
Every year, we welcome up to 10 Barnet based families to our GROW-COOK-SHARE project. Each family is given their own raised bed on our farm for the growing season and is invited to attend fortnightly food growing and cooking workshops.
GCS is for families who do not have access to outdoor space for financial reasons and who have been referred via Barnet 0-19 Early Help Hub. Since starting the programme in 2022, we have welcomed over 30 families. Families who wish to continue on the programme can do so and we continue to build more beds year on year to enable this.
We will be recruiting new families to join GCS in March 2025.
If you meet the criteria above and want to be involved, please email lucy@wearegrow.org.
GRAHAME PARK
COMMUNITY GARDEN
The Grahame Park Community Garden is a welcoming space for local residents to grow food, learn new skills, and connect with their neighbours. Since taking on the garden, we’ve worked alongside the community to transform it into a thriving hub, with over 550 visitors joining us so far!
In 2025, we’re expanding our activities—with weekly drop-in gardening sessions, an after-school club (starting after Easter Holidays), and more seasonal workshops and community events. Join us on Fridays from March to October to volunteer, share food, and take home fresh harvests.
Community Forum: April 4th, 12-1PM at The Old Library – Help shape the future of the garden!
To get involved, email eve@wearegrow.org.
