Aruna Bahia, Chair
Aruna currently works as the Sustainability Partnerships Manager at the Co-Op Foundation. She works with sustainability and wellbeing organisations and charities across the world. Aruna has a a background and expertise in grant making, climate change, sustainable food systems and working with young people.

Kalpana Arias
Kalpana is a technologist, urban gardener, climate activist, ecosomatics educator, writer, speaker and the founder of Nowadays On Earth, a social enterprise advocating for contact with nature in the digital age. Alongside Nowadays On Earth, Kalpana campaigns for urban nature and nature rights through urban rewilding projects and tech policy reforms.

Samantha Jayasuriya, Vice-Chair
Samantha is a leadership energy coach working across a variety of business networks to help successful professionals achieve their goals. Her background is in education, having previously worked as a Headteacher in three schools in Barnet and Hertfordshire.

Lottie Delamain
Lottie is a Garden Designer working on gardens around the UK, from small urban spaces to historic estates. In May 2022, Lottie completed her first show garden at RHS Chelsea, and was awarded a Silver Gilt medal for her garden “A Textile Garden for Fashion Revolution”. She has been featured widely in the press, regularly contributes to articles and writes for House & Garden.

Fran Box
Fran has worked for education and environment charities for over 10 years. She has direct experience delivering outdoor education with early years and primary-aged children, and in project management for environmental education charities. For the past three years Fran has worked for the sensory food education charity TastEd, helping schools rethink the way they teach food education.

James Smith
James is a growing consultant with over 30 years experience of organic growing and community development. He has supported schools, farm starts, farms and community groups. He is also working with a Cumbria Further Education Charity to bring land based opportunities to Cumbria. He is co-founder of Growing Well, an award-winning mental health charity based around a community-supported farm in the Lake District, Cumbria.
