THE TOTTERIDGE ACADEMY

We work in partnership with The Totteridge Academy where our farm is located.

We provide daily produce to the school kitchen and deliver a variety of educational programmes to support well-being and connection to the outdoors. Our TTA programmes include early support, after-school and lunch clubs, 1-2-1 support, and work experience.

We also work across the curriculum, supporting teachers and students to benefit from the farm as a learning resource and outdoor classroom. We regularly collaborate with subjects including Food Tech, Science, English, DT, and Geography across Key Stage 3 to Key Stage 5.

SCHOOL TRIPS

We host GROW Discovery Days on our farm for schools & youth groups from March - November.

To find out more go to our Book a Trip page below.

PRIMARY SCHOOL OUTREACH

We work with local primary schools, supporting them to set up and run their own food-growing facilities.

We are currently working with Underhill School & Children’s Centre and Whitings Hill Primary School as part of our Learning from the Land programme.

If you are interested in working with GROW in your school please email lucy@wearegrow.org. Please note, these projects require funding.

We welcome Y10+ students to the GROW Farm for work experience and DofE volunteering opportunities throughout the year.

Responsibilities and skills gained include farming, animal care, and teaching. We can tailor work experience opportunities to suit the interests of the student.
